A sample of using the new ToneX plug that’s actually a head phone amp that allows you to load any of your amp model presets.
I figured I’d see if I can run it through a power amp and PF350 speaker. You can load 30 steel guitar amp model/presets into. It includes effects.

Re: ToneX plug
The headphone jack is the easiest pathway to amplification. Stereo mini jacks that sum to mono (Amazon)are necessary whether built in to the cable or with a stereo/mono adaptor.
Radial makes a product called ReAmp HP that is designed to make a headphone output play with amps and PA’s. It has a mini and 1/4 guitar jack input, a ground lift, mono sum switch and attenuating level control transformers to change the headphone output impedance to guitar levels. The radial product sounds better than adaptor cable, but the difference in sound due to the impedance can be eq’ed.
The headphone jack in the plug is surface mounted on the plug board, very delicate and liable to fail with guitar cable and gig strains. Think about anchoring right angled guitar and usb cables at the unit for strain relief.
Needs a preamp or robust amplification to be usable.
Sounds great and app is required to adjust just about everything. Controls on the plug are limited to preset changes and volume. Battery life short, a couple of hours. Usb power needed for reliability.
Tonex One is perhaps a better portable/ pedalboard solution especially with a device like the Airstep TX controller. (also has its own app to control all parameters in the Tonex unit via usb)
