Dumplin's Steel Guitar Service
I am happy to announce that I will be opening Dumplin's Steel Guitar Service and Repair soon after the convention in St. Louis. I have thought about doing this for several months and after talking to many people have decided to do it. I am not doing this to compete with anyone, just to offer another place for all steel players (and or) collectors to get thier guitars worked on.
We will be doing the type of service that players seem to need most such as, simple adjustments, setup changes, adding pedals and knee levers, pickup changes, tune ups, clean ups.
I will also offer strings, bars and a few of those kind of accessories later on.
I will be specializing in all-pull guitars, including all brand names and some Emmons push-pull work also.
I have had many years experience working on my own guitars and also worked for Sho-Bud doing repairs and assembly.
If I can't fix it I'll send you to someone who can.
I plan to be in full swing by the end of September or before.
Prices will be resonable and fair. My shop is in my home so the overhead can be kept to a minimum.
I hope that I can be of service to some of you steelers.

Johnny:
We are really tickled about your new "day job," and wish you much success with your new business.
Mary and I had front row seats at the Opry Saturday night and since we didn't get to see the new triple neck last Monday at the Staton Inn, we really enjoyed seeing, and hearing, it tonight.
As always, your playing was out- standing and you carted that triple neck around like it was made of balsa wood
. It's a beautiful instrument, and we look forward to seeing it up close.
Bill and Mary Sharpe
P.S. Does the new one have the "doorbell" switch for tone?

Hey Bill,
RE: Doorbell switch
No,it doesn't,& don't get any ideas about it,'cause I already have "dibs" on it.
The new guitar has a regular tone control,w/ an oversized knob on it,for easier manipulation.
