B.J. was my lifelong friend. He was a great picker and human With a wonderful sense of humor. In later years, we would get together maybe once a year with a bunch of Greenville, N. C. pickers to jam. In the early 60s, we cut a 45 RPM disc with Bolero, a takeoff on Buckaroo on one side and Seldom Apart, a takeoff on Together Again on the other. On the label it said,"Recorded live at Claude's all night garage and beauty parlor."
