I want to recommend Joe Roger’s Little Walter 89 Tonex model.
I do couple of dozen gigs a year, playing pedal steel guitar and Telecaster or mandolin. My priority is weight, quick setup, and reliability. I don’t bring my tube amps to gigs anymore.
My setup is a Williams 700 PSG and Tele -- Peterson StroboStomp tuner-- Sarno Earth Drive—Walrus Audio Monument tremolol-- Tonex One-- Jay Ganz’ Straight Ahead power amp -- TT12 speaker. The whole amp/FX board packs down into an amp cab that I built.
I was using a Jason Sadites 1965 Fender Deluxe Reverb Tonex model. Great model for the Tele; however, there was not enough headroom before the model was overdriven with the PSG.
After three gigs using the new Little Walter 89 Tonex model from Joe Rogers, I think it sounds really good. There is no glaring treble or distortion when pushed, unlike the Deluxe. It has a very tubey warmth, with a sweet high end.
I am very happy with the Little Walter 89 Tonex model. It is my new gig rig. I will likely get a Joe Rogers Tonex Twin model next.
Buying from Joe was easy. Communication was clear. Joe sent documentation explaining how to import the amp model and various included speaker IRs (Impulse Responses).
Highly recommended.
