Years later, Basil H. commented on this French album here on the forum … saying that it was Jules Ah See on steel for this record. He also said the vibraphone was added later …
Now it’s on YouTube … if you have not heard it … it’s a good one
Yeah, that's a good one (I think I may have got my copy from Baz!). Didn't know about the vibes being added later. Definitely the slower, statelier side of his playing (not a bad thing).

I'll second Mike's shout on Alekoki - I've been using it as a warm-up for years, moving through the modulations and treating it like an etude when I sit down to practice. Not just beautiful, but useful!
